The Beef Initiative

The Backbone of a Country

The food in the supermarket has a beginning: the feed used to feed the cattle, fertilizer sprinkled ever so gently by a tractor going up and down rows before the sun has even risen, and the water given to the crops from a self installed cap-by-cap system in the field. That beginning starts, in the heart of a farmer, in their minds, and through their hands before it appears packaged neatly in your local supermarket.

Typically, folk go down to their supermarket to pick up their groceries. I can count on one hand the folks I know that hunt their own food and harvest their own crop to provide food on the table for their families.

It’s an incredible feeling to sit behind a 6.5 Creedmoor or a .300 Winchester Magnum waiting for your big game to cross your path in the middle of a forest early in the morning. Brining back that game, knowing you’ll be able to provide meals, pack a freezer, and be set for a long winter used to be cherished. The modern world has moved away from this. The farmer struggles incredibly. If not for their struggles, high overhead costs, and the extra jobs they may take on around town, it becomes a far-fetched idea to make ends meet.

During the presidency of Donald Trump, the Market Facilitation Program was launched to aide “farmers and ranchers with commodities directly impacted by unjustified foreign retaliatory tariffs, resulting in the loss of traditional export markets. Assistance is available for agricultural producers of non-specialty crops, dairy, hogs, and specialty crops.” There were only three rounds of payments nad each round was cut down by a percentage from the previous. The forecast payments for new applicants are significantly lower.

Farmers once held a coveted place in history; but as modern man has moved to the city and left the country behind; the dust has grown and politics has settled in. That dust hasn’t stopped prominent figures from purchasing land. Instead of giving back to the farmers and ranchers in our country who could use the funds to further their trades, prominent figures in the spot light such as Bill Gates have scooped up land to further their own bottom line without breaking a sweat.

While the modern farmer is sowing fields and turning soil for the next year; there are individuals sitting back collecting royalty fees for the use of their land. Bill Gates currently owns 300,000 acres of farmland. McDonalds grows the potatoes for their french fries on his land and the carrots that Americans buy in supermarkets for sautéing are also grown on his land. What an interesting position to be in, to control food supply, land, and water. It begs the question of what is next and why all that control by the conglomerates?

Land used to be a connection to our inner soul, a place of peace. Instead, it is being fought over and as the price of commodities needed to survive as a farmer or rancher grows. One must wonder what will be left of the backbone of our country. Support them, for it is your heritage too.

At the end of the day, food intelligence is most important. The food is being used by processing plants, by ranches/farms, and stores in a way that benefits the conglomerates and not the public. It is harmful to the public - because of the chemicals in the fertilizer, soil, and in the packaging to extend shelf life.

The conglomerates can hijack the price in anyway they see fit, they can hold back food items (say fires are happening when there aren’t any, can put chemicals in the food, and control it completely), food is hijacked from the beginning.

If the rancher can control their product, cattle/grass/etc., they can control the price. If they have a processing facility that is on point and run by bitcoiners then we move away from a captured food supply. If bitcoiners and people who are aware and practicing food intelligence in the choices they make for themselves and their families, start buying beef and other food that is not captured by conglomerates to benefit their families and communities then there is no harm done- building a bridge between bitcoin as a method of payment for beef and food is the first step in understanding how to become self-sovereign and take control of your food intelligence.
